Shrouded Star - 120 Modules

These pieces are hand folded using 24lb colored copy paper and overhead transparency film.  Paper stars are made with a rainbow variety of colors, mimicking the capture of refracted, prismatic light within the stellated shells.

This particular model features a 120-piece star shrouded inside a 60-piece star.  Marvel at how a shape twice as dense fits perfectly inside a configuration half as complex, intuiting state-change and morphogenesis.
